May face massive devastation – Public Health Inspectors Association warns

by time news

The Association of Public Health Inspectors has warned that the country could face massive catastrophe due to the threat of Omigron infection in Sri Lanka.

Fear leader Upul Rohana has expressed dissatisfaction with the health minister’s publication of relaxed health guidelines in this context. Commenting further on this, he said,

“Four people have been identified with the Omigron trio in Sri Lanka. In such an environment the corona health practices implemented in Sri Lanka continue to be extended.

Public health inspectors had earlier called for a travel ban between the provinces to prevent the Corona crisis during the festive season. However, the travel ban between the provinces has not been implemented.

Under the new healthcare system, 50 per cent of the hall capacity is allowed to attend weddings.

He accused the people of operating without any health guidelines during the festive season despite the fact that omega-3s have been identified in the country in this condition.

He said the country was thus in grave danger and questioned whether it was fair to relax travel restrictions and isolation laws.

Did the Director General of Health Services, and health officials make this relaxation based on data related to corona infection or due to someone else’s pressure? He asked.
