MMore than 100 people from the El Nazareno sector welcomed the “Imderma goes to the community” program, promoted by the mayoress of Maturín, Ana Fuentes, for healthy recreation and family fun.

Between sports competitions, traditional games, dances and fun, the children, youth and adults of the parish demonstrated their skills in different disciplines.

After a lively dance therapy, there were futsal, men’s and women’s volleyball, basketball, rubber ball, and agility and dexterity circuits that took place at the Jesús de Nazareno school.

Marcos Flores, president of Imderma, highlighted the importance of these sports days that allow direct contact with the communities.

“We have these activities in the ‘Imderma goes to school’ plan, which takes place every Wednesday in the different educational institutions of the Maturín municipality,” he explained.

Virginia Espinoza, political manager of axis 8, of the El Nazareno sector, stressed that the Maturín mayor’s office continues to promote healthy recreation through its affiliated entities, “making excellent days for the good living of all Maturinese.”
