A horrific crime in Greater Poland. On Monday, April 24, around 8 p.m., five bodies were found in one of the detached houses in Chodzież at Podgórna Street. Four adults and a few-month-old baby are dead. The police are investigating. Preliminary findings point to multiple murders. At least some of the victims were restrained.
On Monday, around 8 pm in Chodzież, the bodies of five people were found in one of the detached houses.
Currently, activities are underway at the scene with the participation of the prosecutor.
Like a journalist Voice of Greater Poland spokeswoman for St. Asp. Karolina Smardz-Dymek, for the sake of the investigation, the police do not disclose details. She only confirmed that the event took place.
We’ve received a report of two bodies. Three more were found at the scene. They were four adults and one child a few months old – K. Smardz-Dymek told us.
As the tvn24.pl portal found out unofficially, the police discovered on the ground floor of the house the bodies of a man (41 years old), his wife (38 years old) with their mouths taped and their legs tied, and the body of a 4-month-old baby covered with a duvet in bed. All persons had neck wounds, and a knife was lying near the corpses. In addition, on the first floor of the building, the bodies of a man (73 years old) and his wife (72 years old) were found – also with neck wounds. An open door was revealed in the back of the house.
The spokesman for the Wielkopolska police, Andrzej Borowiak, reported – as reported by “Gazeta Wyborcza” – that the police were informed by people who had not been able to contact their families for several days.
Currently, activities are underway at the scene with the participation of the prosecutor. The street is lined with police cars, and commander Przemysław Kozioł is also on site. Sirens are constantly being heard, new cars are arriving.
