The Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic continues to provide subsidies for expensive energy. As the temporarily appointed Minister of the Economy Karel Hirman informed at Monday’s press conference, the ministry has already started accepting applications for compensation for the increased prices of electricity and gas for the month of March.
Applications are accepted by the resort in online mode. Any subject developing an economic activity (having an ID number) who owns an electricity meter or a gas meter can receive assistance. The state will continue to subsidize 80 percent of the costs of companies and municipalities whose megawatt hours for electricity are over 199 euros and for gas over 99 euros.
