The government has warned users of Apple products such as the iPhone and MacBook.
The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) under the Indian IT Ministry has issued a new alert for users of products including Apple’s iPhone, Apple MacBook, Apple Watch, iPad and Apple TV. This is classified as extreme caution.
The Federal Ministry of Information and Technology has advised users through the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team to update to the latest software version of the company as there are several security issues with Apple products in this warning.
Also, in the warning message issued by CERT in this regard, a lot of vulnerabilities have been reported in various Apple products.
It has been said that these can be used by cyber attackers to gain superior privileges, to avoid security restrictions, to execute arbitrary code, and to release sensitive information from the targeted computer.

Attackers can exploit these vulnerabilities by convincing the user to run an application designed to be malicious.
Users are therefore warned that if they are negligent in not updating to the latest software version, their iPhone or other Apple devices could be monitored by cyber criminals or some malware could be remotely inserted into the devices.
Newer iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 operating systems include the iPhone 6s and later, the iPad Pro (all models), the iPad Air 2 and later, the iPad 5th generation and later, the iPad mini 4 and later, and the iPod touch Available on (7th generation) devices.
