Representatives from Argentina, Barbados, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Honduras, Mexico, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines participate in the international conference on the political process in Venezuela.

Representatives of the European Union, as well as the United States, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Norway are also present at the meeting.

Josep Borrell, high representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, pointed out before entering the international conference that the “democratic normalization process” in Venezuela must be accompanied by a “gradual lifting of sanctions ”.

“It is evident that a process of democratic normalization has to be accompanied by a gradual lifting of actions, everything consists of knowing when and how,” Borrell told the media.
