MSP strengthens the first level of care in the province of Loja
Last Friday, April 21, the symbolic event of laying the first stone for the comprehensive intervention of the Type A Health Center of San Pedro de la Bendita, Catamayo canton, Loja province, took place. The investment exceeds USD 250 thousand.
The ceremony was attended by Juan Carlos Ríos, zone coordinator 7 of the Ministry of Government; Jhuliana Cueva, delegate of the Zonal Health Coordination 7; Kleber Jaramillo, president of the Parish GAD, among others. In addition to officials and members of the community of San Pedro de la Bendita who will benefit from this work.
The work is carried out in an area of 1,376.82 square meters and will benefit more than 2,000 inhabitants with access to dentistry, vaccination, sampling, procedures, meeting rooms, admissions, pharmacy, family medicine, general medicine and others.
The delegate of the zonal coordination stated that, cWith the purpose of strengthening the first level of care, the project for Strengthening the Health Services Network and Quality Improvement financed the execution of this work that will allow the provision of decent and timely services to the population.
While, Juan Carlos Ríos expressed the commitment of the National Government to improve health services and the execution of new projects that improve the quality of life of the inhabitants of this parish.
For his part, the parish leader thanked the Government and Ministry of Health for allocating resources so that San Pedro has a new work. “I want to infinitely thank all the technical and administrative staff of the Ministry of Public Health for the execution of this great work, our community will always be grateful for their great support.”
Until the works are completed, within 120 days, the staff is providing care at the facilities of the parish GAD.
