CIKAMPEK – Chief of Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo giving orders to his staff responding to the possibility reverse flow will be distributed until Sunday, April 30 2023. The National Police Chief ordered his staff to remain alert to secure the return flow of the 2023 Eid holiday.

He emphasized to all its members to be alert both on toll roads and arteries in order to continue to provide the best service for the community when traveling back and forth.

“I instruct the members regarding the shift in the prediction of the peak of the return flow, there will be a distribution until next Sunday. I ask the members to be alert for both the toll road and the arteries. So that the distribution of the peak return flow for all people is served,” Sigit said while reviewing the return flow at KM 72 Cikampek Toll Road, Tuesday (25/4/2024).

The former National Police Criminal Investigation Agency said that from initial predictions there would be 203 thousand vehicles per day passing during the peak of the return flow. So several strategies have been prepared, ranging from providing toll road discounts to traffic engineering to break down congestion.

Sigit said, the government had also announced to avoid the peak of backflow by providing opportunities for the TNI-Polri, BUMN, and ASN to avoid backflow by applying for additional leave.

“Mr. Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs has also informed that for halalbihalal activities it will be shifted not this week, but next week,” said Sigit.

Based on the checking results, Sigit explained that there should have been a peak of reverse flow today, but there has been a change. There was even a 13 percent decrease in the number of vehicles from the initial prediction.

“Of course we will wait to see if the 13 percent reduction will still apply, meaning that if it persists we can lower the peak prediction of 203 thousand. Because it could drop 13 percent,” said the former Banten Police Chief.
