Chile

According to figures from the ADEX Data Trade Commercial Intelligence System, last year Chile concentrated 51.2% of total Peruvian exports to the Pacific Alliance, followed by Colombia with 27.1% and Mexico with 21.7%.

Shipments to the southern nation totaled just over US$1,052 million in 2015 and US$1,994 million in 2022, achieving an evolution of 90%. The primary supply (US$ 782,585,000 in 2022) was mainly composed of molybdenum and its concentrates, residual 6, kerosene-type jet fuels, fish fats and oils, and unalloyed zinc.

Colombia

In 2022, Colombia imported Peruvian goods for US$ 1,055,350,000, showing an advance of 21.4% in relation to 2015, the year the PA entered into force. The traditional sector (US$ 202 million 609 thousand) represented 19.2% of the total and the value added sector (US$ 852 million 741 thousand) 80.8%.

The most requested products were refined copper wire (US$186,342,000), other non-decaffeinated coffees (US$78,183,000) and unalloyed zinc (US$41,156,000).

Mexico

Finally, shipments to Mexico totaled just over US$844 million in 2022, which meant an increase of 61.4% compared to 2015. Non-traditional shipments (US$621,897,000 in 2022) grew 137% compared to the 2015, with agribusiness being the most important item in terms of US$ FOB amount (US$ 284 million 876 thousand last year) and by increase (466%).

The leading product in value-added shipments was fresh grapes (US$75,618,000), followed by palm oil, paprika, tires, frozen squid, cocoa beans, refined copper sheets and strips, fresh garlic and polling machines.
