On New Year’s Eve 2019, Rod Stewart (76) and his son Sean (41) messed with a security employee in Florida – and were violent. The two have now admitted that.
Certainly not without ulterior motives …
Rod Stewart: Miami brawl
The incident happened when Stewart, his son Sean, and other family members – including children – were refused entry to a party in the children’s area of a Florida hotel.
This led to a violent argument with a hotel employee responsible for security. Now, almost two years later, the agreement: According to the BBC, Rod Stewart let it be known through his lawyer that he had made a confession.
The reason: He wanted to avoid the “inconvenience and unnecessary burden” of legal proceedings. Or also: avoid a possible prison sentence. Because: The rock star escapes with his confession of a possible formal conviction in a criminal case.

According to a US attorney spokesman, the victim of the attack had no objection.
It wasn’t his first conflict with the law for Sean. In 2002, the reality star was arrested after attacking a man outside a Malibu restaurant.
