The weather over the weekend is particularly stormy, and is expected to accompany us well into next week. Light snow fell during the night and morning (Saturday) at the Hermon site, and the temperature on the lower level is zero degrees.
The Hermon site is waiting for the significant system that is expected to arrive on Monday. The site is now closed to visitors due to weather conditions.
Throughout the night it rained across the country, accompanied by thunderstorms. Today it is expected to rain in the north and center and they will be accompanied by isolated thunderstorms. There is a risk of flooding in the northern coastal plain and the central coastal plain. At noon the rains will decrease in the center and continue in the north. A lull in the rain system will apply on Sunday, and then a rise in temperatures is also expected.
On Monday there will be a change in the weather and the rains will return to the area and continue on Monday, Tuesday and possibly also on Wednesday. It will be cold and snow is expected on Mount Hermon.
