‘Spider Man No Way Home’ opens with the second best opening ever for a Hollywood movie in India. Of the four language versions released in India, the film grossed Rs 41.50 crore and Rs 32.67 crore on Thursday. The film was well received in the country, regardless of whether it was North India or South India. Due to its excellent word of mouth publicity, the film was expected to garner a four-day extended weekend. But Allu Arjun’s Pan Indian movie Spider-Man, which hit theaters yesterday, has affected the second day’s collection.

This decline in collection was evident in South India. On Thursday, the day of its release, the film grossed Rs 32.67 crore and on Friday it grossed Rs 20.37 crore. That is two days gross 67.17 crores and net 53.04 crores! Although there was a decrease in Friday’s collection, it is still the best collection in the current situation. Distributor Sony Pictures is looking forward to the film’s performance in India on Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, Spider-Man is the best-opening Hollywood movie after the first day collection of Avengers: Endgame in India. Avengers’ release day collection was Rs 53.10 crore.

Meanwhile, it is reported that Allu’s Pushpa has got the best opening this year among the films released in India. According to unofficial reports, the film grossed Rs 44-46 crore on the first day from various language editions.
