About 40,000 hikers did not shy away from the rainy winter weather and went for a walk today (Saturday) in the nature reserves and national parks. Among the prominent sites were the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve and the Stalactite Cave and the Migdal Tzedek National Park, Ashkelon, Ein Hemed and Ein Avdat. Hikers enjoyed fall and rainbow shows that adorned the sky at times. There was also a lot of tourist traffic on the Ramon Crater routes and hundreds of hikers in the night campgrounds in the south, where Mamshit, Khan Beerot and Masada stood out.
