Parliament allowed electricity suppliers to unilaterally reduce the tariff in the contract with the resident. Because the household consumers themselves, and there are half a million of them, do nothing and overpay. According to the expert and suppliers, an innocent idea has turned into a problematic law – politicians are burying the idea of ​​a free market, the next step will be price regulation. And the desire to make electricity cheaper will have the opposite effect: the duration of fixed contracts will be shortened, tariffs will increase.
