It was solemnly commissioned today. The event was attended by the head of the main department for health of the regional executive committee Viktor Mikhalovsky. The new computed tomograph makes it possible to solve the full range of diagnostic tasks in surgery, oncology, neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, pediatrics and intensive care units, as well as to conduct research for the potential detection of oncological diseases of various organs, to determine brain blood supply disorders in the diagnosis of strokes and tumors at an early stage.
As the Brest Regional Executive Committee notes, in the near future similar devices will appear in the district hospitals of Lyakhovichi and Drogichin.
