Bosnia’s High Representative Schmidt reinstates Bonn powers – Bosnia-Herzegovina

Demonstrators gathered in front of the parliament in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Friday. The Federation House of Representatives elected a government almost seven months after the elections. Nermin Nikšić of the Social Democrats became the new prime minister. The coalition consists of the Croatian nationalist HDZ, the Bosniak nationalist NiP, the Social Democrats from Naša Straka (Our Party) and the Croatian HDZ 1990.
