On April 29, the Moscow-appointed authorities of Crimea annexed by Russia announced that a large fire at an oil base in the city of Sevastopol has been contained.

On April 28, it was reported that several drones attacked the oil base.

Russia blames Ukraine for this, official bodies of the Ukrainian side did not comment.

It was said that all the forces in Crimea and the resources of the Black Sea Fleet were being used to extinguish the fire, which spread over two thousand square meters in four oil tanks.

There were no reports of injuries.

In connection with the incident, a terrorist alert was issued in Crimea and Sevastopol. (RK)
