It also received a new Santantônio in the double cabin configuration and the interior now has a sporty finish on the seats. However, the main change in the 2024 lineup of the Toyota Hilux GR-Sport are the new gauges, being 140 mm at the front and 155 mm at the rear. Therefore, the Toyota Hilux GR-Sport 2024 is equipped with a 2.8 liter turbodiesel engine, which delivers 224hp with torque of 55 kgfm, a gain of 20hp compared to the old model. This engine has gained improvements in turbine calibration and injection control, which helps in the pickup’s performance. The transmission is a six-speed automatic, with a reduction box for 4X4 traction. During GR-Day, an event in which Toyota’s Gazoo Racing sports division shows all its models, the brand placed the Hilux GR-Sport 2024 on the off-road track at Autódromo Velocitta, in Mogi Guaçu, in the interior of São Paulo.
