The hit ‘Currant’, ragging and music combined with Vineet; Open your mind Divya | Divya Vineeth Interview | Vineeth sreenivasan movie Hridayam Onakka Munthiri song

by time news

OMalayalees are now after ‘raisins’. Following the song ‘Unakamunthiri Parakka Parakka’ which came with Thalassery style lyrics in the movie Hridayam directed by Vineeth Sreenivasan. The song was composed by Hisham Abdul Wahab and the lyrics were penned by Vineet and sung by Vineet’s beloved wife Divya. The sound of the divine raisins becomes unmistakable. Divya Mathrubhumi opens her mind to dot com as the song tops the YouTube trends

Raisins owe a debt of gratitude to Vineet and Hisham

After composing the raisins, Hisham asks Vineet if he can see Chechi’s voice. Vineet said yes. Vineet tells me this is the head of the recording. I asked if I could have done it with someone else who sings well. Vineet’s reply was that if we can not do it right, we can do it with someone else. That’s how it gets to the raisins. But I never expected it to be so well received. Feels a lot happier. Many thanks to Hisham and Vineet.

All the credit for the hit song and lyrics goes to Hisham and Vineet. They waited patiently until the song was properly recorded. Hishab was ready to go for any retake. Hisham enjoyed this song so much. That was very helpful to me too. Then Vineet was in the record room. The confidence it gave me was immense.

Lalettan’s favorite song

Many called and commented positively. But what seemed most special was the call from Suchiyanti (Suchitra Mohanlal). Suchiyanti said that Lalangil (Mohanlal) liked the song very much and he used to sing it from time to time. I was so happy to hear that. I’m not that big of a singer. No more experience. But when we said that Lalettan liked the song we sang, it gave us a lot of joy.

The song that unites Divya and Vineeth

It was the song that brought me and Vineet together. We studied at KCG College of Engineering, Chennai. While there, Vineet’s friends caught up with me to rag. Asked to sing in Malayalam. Although I am a Malayalee, I was not fluent in Malayalam as everything I studied and grew up in was in Tamil Nadu. So I said I don’t know how to sing a Malayalam song. Then they called Vineet and said that he would teach you. That’s how I met Vineet. That is where the journey together begins. 17 years of love and friendship continue that journey

Vineeth’s music, lyrics..songs sung together

None of the songs sung so far have been planned and sung. The whole album ‘Fly Away’ was planned earlier. I’m writing and composing a song like this and Vineet was asking you to sing it. There was no confidence at all. But the song was sung with Vineeth’s encouragement. The song we sang together in Saras was the decision of Jude (director Jude Antony) and Shawn (music director Shawn Rahman). Even there, Vineet encouraged us to sing and said that we should try. The same thing happened with raisins.

Vineet recorded Divya’s song for the first time in 16 years

I was told that I was not at all confident to sing. I still cover my ears when I hear my own voice. That’s why I never allowed Vineet to record my singing. But that day, when I was with our group of friends, I was overwhelmed. I saw the recording but I never thought Vineet would put it on Instagram. Glad people liked that too

All-rounder Vineet, the best as a father

I love Vineet as a father. Vineet is the best father ever. Vineet gives a lot of attention and time to Vihan and Shanayak. All the hustle and bustle is off the stairs when you spend time with them. Adults pay close attention to what they say. Vineet wants that too. Other things Vineet may have changed at times. But not so with children. Vineet wants to spend time with them. It is a great pity if one day it is not possible. Vineet is the best as a father.

Not a lot of dreams, but always moving forward happily

I did not expect the song to be sung and it was accepted, and nothing was planned. That’s what happened. It’s just accepting what’s coming. Other than that I don’t have a lot of dreams or expectations. I just want to move forward happily every day. At the end of the day I should feel like yes I am happy. That’s all. That is our dream of having children. No big dreams or passions, there should be happiness in life. I will accept whatever comes my way and I will be happy in it.
