Guest on the set of BFM-RMC this Monday, May 1, the Minister of Labor Olivier Dussopt confirmed that the government would soon send an invitation to the unions to discuss the pension reform.

After the decision of the Constitutional Council to validate the pension reform in mid-April, most trade union organizations had said they refused to meet the head of state and indicated that they did not wish to dialogue before May 1. It is for this reason that Olivier Dussopt indicated that the government was going to send an invitation to the unions “in the coming days”, to exchange with Élisabeth Borne at Matignon.

“We are neither one day nor one hour away (…) It could be this week, early next week,” said the Minister of Labor, explaining that it depends on everyone’s availability and the will of some. and others to participate in these interviews. “Things are being done at the rate they should be done, what matters is that we can resume a certain number of discussions,” he added.

“Should we go or not? It’s a real subject.”

Asked about the subject with our colleagues from France infothe general secretary of the CFDT Laurent Berger indicated that he had still not received an invitation from Élisabeth Borne: “Many of you have told us about it but we have no invitation for the moment to go and meet the Prime Minister” before adding “the question that is being asked is: Should we to go or not? It’s a real topic. »

Subsequently, Laurent Berger indicated that the CFDT will discuss with the government, while warning the latter. “It’s going to take [le gouvernement soit] at height. If you want us to discuss, you will have to be up to speed on the method of consultation, discussion and co-construction. If it’s just to invite us and tell us what you want to do, it’s not worth it. »
