The Criminal Chamber of the National Court has confirmed the order of judge Manuel García Castellón in which he proposed to try the former manager of the PP of Madrid Beltrán GM for the crime of electoral falsehood in the regional elections of 2011 in piece 9 of the so-called Púnica case . In an order, the Fourth Section magistrates dismissed the appeal filed by Beltrán GM in which he does not question the material content of the order to pass to abbreviated procedure or the sufficiency of evidence collected against him, but only raises the prescription of the facts. The Chamber analyzes the statute of limitations for the crime with which he is charged, which it sets at five years.
