The national senator of Together for Change (JxC) Carolina Losada announced this Monday her decision to be a pre-candidate for governor of the province of Santa Fe and said that she intends to “lead a change” and “leave Kirchnerism behind.”
“I decided to be a pre-candidate for governor for the province of Santa Fe. I want to lead a change because what is happening in the province hurts me,” Losada expressed in a video that he shared on his social networks.
In this sense, the senator expressed her desire to “leave Kirchnerism behind, which never brought peace, order, or freedom.”
Santa Fe is governed by Omar Perotti, belonging to the Justicialista Party, and the three previous periods were administered by representatives of socialism: Miguel Lifschitz, Antonio Bonfatti and Hermes Binner.

Losada will have to compete in the Primary, Open, Simultaneous and Mandatory (PASO) elections with Maximiliano Pullaro, former Security Minister in Santa Fe and member of the UCR, who recently ran for the same position that Losada aspires to.
“I know that there are many people from Santa Fe who want someone without ties to make difficult decisions, with support but without conditions,” Losada continued, stating that if she is elected governor, she will “form a cabinet with the most capable.”
He warned that he aspires to lead “with the common sense that we have missed from politics for a long time” and assured that his officials “will put their knowledge to the benefit of the people.”
“There will be no privileges and I will not have any member committed to the drug-criminal plot,” he added.
After publishing the announcement on the networks, the pre-candidate received greetings and congratulations from several JxC leaders, such as Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, head of the Buenos Aires government and presidential candidate of the same coalition.
Larreta celebrated “your decision to be a candidate for governor of Santa Fe and for the great work you do for each of the people of Santa Fe.”

Meanwhile, former President Mauricio Macri congratulated her for “the work of these years and for the vocation to help Santa Fe to overcome this difficult moment.”
“The province still has an enormous capacity for growth and the people of Santa Fe deserve to live in peace. I know it will work for that. My support,” she added on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the owner of the PRO in use of a license, Patricia Bullrich, wrote: “I know that the people of Santa Fe do not give up and fight until the end. For this reason, I am sure that they will support the courage and strength of Carolina Losada to govern Santa Fe”.
