Danny de Munk will return to the program next season I Can See Your Voice. RTL says it is ‘only logical’ that the singer is present again at the recordings now that the investigation into allegations of sexually transgressive behavior against him has been closed.
“We are looking forward to working with Danny again. The investigation is closed and as far as we are concerned, his return is only logical,” said a spokesman for RTL in response to reports from RTL Boulevard.
De Munk was accused of rape last June by a woman who worked with him on the musical fifteen years ago Ciske de Rat. RTL then decided to suspend cooperation with the singer. In November it was announced that the investigation was stopped because there was insufficient evidence. De Munk has always denied the accusation.
The recordings of I Can See Your Voice will start again next week. This season’s panel will consist of Marieke Elsinga, Fred van Leer and Danny de Munk. Just like last year, in addition to the three regular panel members, there is also a weekly changing panel member under the leadership of Carlo Boszhard.
