Two runners undertook an escape adventure: Iurani Blanco and Coralie Demay. However, the Spanish and French would not live a long journey, as they were captured a little less than 40 km from the conclusion, along with a massive fall in the lot that affected Silvia Persico.

There was tension with some cuts after the intermediate sprint between Riejanne Markus and Chloe Dygert or also in the only categorized ascent of the day, Puerto de Rebate (4th) where Annemiek van Vleuten was poorly placed. Despite this, they all regrouped and everything was on track for packing.

There Dygert tried to anticipate from afar and his maneuver at a certain point seemed to be a winner. However, from behind, the power of Marianne Vos and Charlotte Kool was superior, who came back from the American and fought hand in hand for the victory, which remained in the hands of the Dutch DSM, who is still confirmed as the best sprinter in the present campaign.

Tomorrow there is another flat journey drawn on 157.8 kilometers starting from Elche de la Sierra and arriving at La Roda, waiting to see who will prevail in a new massive definition.
