The Minister of Finance, fernando haddadsaid that voting on the new tax framework it should stay for two weeks from now, when he has returned from his trip to Japan, where he will participate in the G7 meeting. The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), will have returned from a trip to the United States. Haddad should return to Brazil on May 15th. He met this Wednesday, the 3rd, with Lira and the rapporteur for the text, Claudio Cajado (PP-BA), to discuss the presentation schedule and vote on the report on the new fiscal rule. “Since I will be traveling next week for the G7 and President Arthur Lira will be traveling, we set the schedule for presentations of the framework report and a date for an attempt at voting”, said Haddad. “It is an internal matter in the Chamber, I will not anticipate the decision, but I made considerations that were considered so that the vote takes place when President Arthur Lira and I are back, he from the United States and I from Japan, because in the final stretch it may have any questions, any doubts.
