Fifth most spoken language after English, Mandarin, Hindi and Spanish, Portuguese is the language used by around 280 million people worldwide. This Friday (5th), when World Portuguese Language Day is celebrated, RFI spoke with professor Ana Crelia Dias, from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro to analyze the visibility of Brazilian literature abroad and the difficulties of integration between Brazil and its Latin American neighbors.
