In Quito and the Sierra you will live radiation high and clear skies and partly cloudy during this weekend.
At least that is what the forecasts of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (It’s moving), for this Saturday May 6 and Sunday May 7, 2023.
This body issued an alert detailing this climatic behavior that will last until Monday, May 8.
In accordance with this warning, the north of the Interandean alley and the coastal region will have high rates of radiation and high temperatures during the mornings.
Likewise, gusts of wind are forecast, at least until 4:00 p.m. the following Monday.
High radiation will continue on Sunday
For tomorrow, Sunday, high levels of radiation in almost the entire country, according to Inamhi.
The highest levels are expected for the localities of the coastal profile, from the north to the south of this region.
While in the Sierra, Inamhi reports, ultraviolet solar radiation could reach a very high level. And something similar is predicted for the Amazon region.
Possible rain this morning
This Saturday afternoon, Inamhi also warned about the possible presence of rainy and storms in the north and west of the country.
That is, in the center and north of the coast, in areas such as the province of Esmeraldas, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas and Los Ríos.
These conditions could arise in these sectors, from the afternoon of this Saturday the 6th until the early morning of Sunday the 7th.
The rainy season continues throughout the country, although the transition to the dry season is expected for this month of May.
