Mayor Armando Ayala pointed out that one of the main income of the City hall It is for property taxes, an item in which also from 2019 to 2022 a growth in collection was achieved.
In this sense, he stated that in real estate the growth in this period was 174 percent, in addition to the fact that for the first quarter of this year 4 million pesos more than in all of last year.
“These results are the product of the work carried out by the Municipal Treasury and the Collection Department, in addition to demonstrating the confidence that the population has in the Government of Ensenada, since their contributions are being well invested in issues mainly of public services for the well-being of the community”, he affirmed.
He said that although good things have been achieved, the resources are insufficient to meet all the commitments that the City Council has, since it faces a financial deficit inherited from various administrations.

Armando Ayala reiterated that the Government of Ensenada will continue working on programs and strategies to improve their finances to achieve better public services, mainly to mitigate the problem of roads.
