Since then, Philippe Torreton explains “that he hardly turns anymore”. He also criticized the complacency of part of the French public with regard to the actor and his many escapades or his slippages.

On April 25, Marion Guilloux signed a column in chata feminist magazine, in which she criticized the “amnesia” of a “whole world […] when one speaks [des] repeated attacks [de Gérard Depardieu] “. She explains that she witnessed an attack by the actor on an extra during the filming of the film. Turf. “You are a many-headed monster. When you cut it somewhere, another grows back into the frame,” she wrote.
Thirteen women accuse actor Gérard Depardieu of sexual violence, already indicted for suspicion of rape and sexual assault on actress Charlotte Arnould, according to an article by Mediapart. Requested by Agence France-Presse, the Paris prosecutor’s office had indicated on April 12 that it had “not received any new complaint to date”, and specified that the investigation opened in July 2020 following the complaint of an actress, Charlotte Arnould, continued.
For his part, the 74-year-old actor “formally denies all the charges likely to fall under criminal law”, had informed our colleagues, quoting the law firm Temime, responsible for defending him. He was dropped from promoting his latest film, Umami.
