The President also said in his congratulations that more than 200 terrorist attacks have been prevented in Russia in 11 years, and 32 in 11 months of 2021. In his opinion, in the “difficult international situation”, increased demands are made on the special services, including in the fight against terrorism. The head of state noted the increased role of the Foreign Intelligence Service “in the comprehensive provision of the security of our country.” According to him, this concerns “the prompt and high-quality analysis of international information, the development of forecasts for the development of the situation in the world as a whole and in individual regions.”
