OURENSE, 8 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The lawyer who represents the president of the Ourense Provincial Council and the Ourense Popular Party, Manuel Baltar, in the legal case after being caught at 215 kilometers per hour with an official vehicle has alleged “another indication earlier in time” to request the postponement of the judicial appearance of the politician, which was scheduled for this Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Court of First Instance and Instruction of Puebla de Sanabria (Zamora).

The Ourense Provincial Council distributed a message on Monday night in which it identifies Baltar’s lawyer as Juan Ramón Montero and indicates that this lawyer has another trial previously indicated, “having this preference over those agreed upon later, for which reason legally suspend it”.

The message from Baltar’s legal team, which states that “it is waiting for a new signal to be set”, has been distributed hours after this Monday the Superior Court of Justice of Castilla y León confirmed that the time for the speedy trial for a crime against road safety would take place from 9:30 am on Tuesday.

The Court of First Instance and Instruction of Puebla de Sanabria is the one that has opened the proceedings for a crime against road safety in which Baltar appears as investigated. The appearance of the PP politician, who was caught by radar on April 23 when he was circulating, at the height of the Zamorano term of Asturianos, at 215 kilometers per hour, was not going to be public.
