A recall sheet was issued on Tuesday by the Système U group, concerning a smoked garlic sausage marketed between April 8 and 13, 2023. According to the Recall conso websitedeli meats show traces of Listeria monocytogenes, the causative agent of listeriosis.
The sausage was marketed in the meat department of all the Système U brands in France. Vacuum-packed in 300 g packs, the product bears the barcode 3256229807013 and its best-before date is May 27, 2023.

“People who have consumed” the smoked garlic sausage “and who have a fever, isolated or accompanied by headaches, and body aches, are invited to consult their doctor, notifying him of this consumption”, specifies the reminder sheet. “Listeriosis is a disease that can be serious and whose incubation period can be up to eight weeks”, also indicates Rappel conso.
