Athletes from the Luhansk Children’s and Youth Sports School took part in the tournament in memory of Margelov.
At the interregional boxing tournament in memory of Vasily Margelov, which took place in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation, two athletes from Lugansk took prizes, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of the LPR.
Competitions were held in the category of juniors 17-18 years old, as well as senior youths 15-16 years old. Luhansk boxers competed with about 100 participants from different cities of the Russian Federation.
Gold went to an athlete from the LPR in the category up to 56 kg, and bronze – in the category up to 64 kg.
Let us also remind that the Donetsk student became the first holder of the Champion Belt in the Shogun’s Cup in history.
