Prime Minister Naftali Bennett also planned to attend this year’s convention in Davos.

A statement from the World Forum said the conference was postponed because of the uncertainty surrounding the impact of the Omicron strain, and that the organizers plan to hold the conference in early summer. Also last year the conference was not held in Davos, but in online discussions.

At the conference in Davos, the organizers announced that they would hold a series of online meetings, entitled “State of the World” and which would focus on solutions to the problems the countries are facing in the face of the ongoing plague.

Last August, the heads of the World Economic Forum were forced to cancel the “summer meeting” they planned to hold in Singapore, despite the epidemic.
