New Zealand cricket team to tour Pakistan twice

by time news

The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that the New Zealand cricket team will tour Pakistan twice next year.

The New Zealand team toured Pakistan last September and clashed in the T20 and ODI series. He then returned home after canceling the tour before the start of the one-day international against Pakistan due to security threats. The New Zealand team will tour Pakistan twice, in December next year and in April 2023, along with the canceled matches.

Rameez Raja, Chairman, Pakistan Cricket Board, said:

The decision was made in consultation with the New Zealand Cricket Board. Pakistan will take on New Zealand in December next year in two Tests for the ICC World Test Championship and three ODIs for the ICC Men’s World Cup Super League Series. Similarly, in response to the canceled matches this year, Pakistan will play 5 ODIs and 5 T20I matches in April 2023. Both these tours will enhance the understanding and friendship between the New Zealand-Pakistan countries.

Thus said Rameez Raja.

Pakistan will play a total of 8 Tests, 11 ODIs and 13 T20I matches against Australia, England and New Zealand from March 2022 to April 2023.
