Guillaume Cairou, whose candidacy had not been validated for lack of having collected a sufficient number of sponsorships, also gave his support to Dominique Carlac’h, as did the president of Medef Alsace Olivier Klotz, who had campaigned before join Pierre Brajeux in April.

For Guillaume Cairou, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Yvelines, “a woman at the head of our employers’ organization could be a very strong signal sent to our society in these troubled times (…) to give a breath, a new impetus and participate in unlocking this election. »
Patrick Martin claims the support of representatives of “90 of the 100 national employers’ federations, 95% of territorial Medefs and 100% of regional Medefs”, according to a press release published on Wednesday. He announces that he has collected 457 sponsorships, against 343 for Dominique Carlac’h, who assures him however: “the dynamic is on our side. “According to her,” the Medef does not want a simple renewal “, while Patrick Martin registers his candidacy in the continuity of that of Geoffroy Roux de Bézieux.
Dominique Carlac’h, who is asking Patrick Martin for a debate, preferably face-to-face, affirms that the members of the Medef criticize the current management for a “disconnection” with the field and wishes to “simplify and streamline the governance of the Medef. »
