The hall of the former CPR of the Town Hall of Natitingou served as a setting for the celebration of two major events at a later date. It is International Women’s Day and Labor Day. The Natitingou Town Hall staff union wanted to mark these two major international events with a white stone.

It was in the presence of the first deputy mayor, the representative of the departmental director of labor and the civil service of Atacora and the Executive Secretary Djamilatou Yérima. This festive meeting was an opportunity for the workers to take stock of the actions carried out by the employers in their favor within the framework of the improvement of their living and working conditions. This comes after the implementation of the structural reform in the field of decentralization, one of the reasons for which the Beninese government uses is the separation of politics and technology. On this occasion, the secretary general of the staff union of the Town Hall of Natitingou Fibi Kaki, praised the efforts made by the local government, in this case the Executive Secretary Djamilatou Yérima for the improvement of the living and working conditions of the staff. . He praised the merits of the head of administration, beyond a responsible person, she is a mother who cares about the well-being of her offspring. “We see you at work, very concerned to make things work, even going personally to carry out collection operations, proof that you are a committed and exemplary manager,” he said.

Spokesperson for Natitingou City Hall staff, Fibi Kaki, also listed the real difficulties facing staff and invited the Executive Secretary to address them. These include the updating and implementation of the staff training plan, the cruel lack of offices for the staff, the lack of lighting and the delay in the payment of salaries to the agents. This does not facilitate, according to him, the smooth running of activities and the good performance of agents. In taking the floor, Executive Secretary Djamilatou Yérima reassured her collaborators of the gradual resolution of the problems raised. These are concerns that have always been the subject of reflection and which will soon be combined with the past. According to the first deputy mayor representing the mayor Taté Ouindéyama, urges the staff to patience and dialogue, the only way to resolve all the problems identified.
