The health measures put in place during the pandemic have damaged the psychological health of many French people, especially those living in cities.

On December 2, 2022, some thirty cities,Annecy in Ouagadougou, federated by signing the call for action from the city of Nantes, entitled “Mental health is also the business of cities”. An event that closed the first edition of an international symposium devoted to the theme “Cities and mental health”. “Mental health must (…) be placed at the heart of public policies, because it is the foundation of individual well-being but also the foundation of good collective functioning”explains, on the site of the event, the psychiatrist Rachel Bocher, scientific curator of the event.
