The health measures put in place during the pandemic have damaged the psychological health of many French people, especially those living in cities.

On December 2, 2022, some thirty cities,Annecy in Ouagadougou, federated by signing the call for action from the city of Nantes, entitled “Mental health is also the business of cities”.
