With a great collective performance, Basquete Tricolor defeated Flamengo by 80 to 72 this Friday, at the Tijuca Tênis Clube gymnasium, in Rio. The highlights of the Morumbi team were Bennett (21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists), Coelho (15 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist) and Betinho (13 points and 1 rebound).
In a very balanced match, São Paulo took the lead in the first quarter, by 25 to 19. In the second quarter, the red-black team ran after the result and made 22 to 17. In the third quarter, the team are -paulina increased the pace and finished ahead, by 25 to 17.
In the last and electrifying quarter of the match, Tricolor put even more pressure on the opponent, taking the lead for good and leaving the Rio team at a disadvantage. The São Paulo team was very combative throughout the game and came out with the victory.
Now, the next two Basketball Tricolor games against the Rio team will be at Morumbi, on May 15th, at 8 pm, and May 17th, at 7 pm. The fourth and fifth games, if necessary, will take place at the Tijuca Tênis Clube gymnasium, in Rio.
