Lhe National Council of the Transition (CNT), in its mission of government control, submitted this Wednesday, May 10, 2023, the Minister of Labor and the Public Service to a question-and-answer exercise. The objective is to enlighten the antenna to the citizens on certain concerns of the moment, but also on the management of the department since taking office.
Julien Yombouno was kind enough to answer 36 questions from the honorable advisers of the transition. One of the questions answered by the Minister of Labor is that of the number of companies established to date in Guinea, but also and above all, the idea he has of the number of employees declared to the Caisse Nationale Social Security (CNSS).
“We have a directory in the process of being finalized. You know when we arrived, there were a lot of things that we would have to put in place to produce these communicable results. Today, even while waiting for the directory to be finalized, we are at nearly 1,550 companies and the number of people insured is 76,926,” said Minister Julien Yombouno, specifying that the number of pensioners is 1 million,699.
On this question, he held by concluding that the average monthly contributions amount to 24 billion Guinean francs.
