Mandatory isolation order for those leaving the UK for Hong Kong

by time news

Travelers from the UK to Hong Kong should initially be isolated at a government isolation center.

Travelers from 12 African countries and the United States face such severe travel restrictions.

Hong Kong, which has the toughest anti-virus controls, added Britain to its list today to prevent the spread of Omkran.

Most travelers to Hong Kong from abroad have to stay at the hotel for three weeks. They should be tested for germs frequently.

But those who travel there from countries where high levels of Omacran virus are believed to be present are required to stay in isolation centers of the Hong Kong government for the first 4 days.

They can be isolated for another 17 days at the hotel.
