Police case against Pakistan spinner Yasir Shah Shalimar police have registered a case against Yasir Shah for allegedly aiding and abetting a 14-year-old girl who was abducted and raped. The case is based on the girl’s complaint. The girl alleged that Yasir Shah’s friend Farhan threatened her at gunpoint, abducted her and raped her. (FIR Yasir Shah molested)
The girl said in the complaint that she was threatened with filming the scene and spreading it. Yasir Shah, along with a friend, also threatened him. The reply was a smiling smiley when Yasir sent a message on WhatsApp with a request for help. He changed his stand after he lodged a complaint with the police. According to the girl, Yasir had promised her a flat to live in until she was 18 and a monthly stipend. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said it will conduct a detailed investigation into the incident and take action.
Yasir Shah, 35, has played 46 Tests and 25 ODIs for Pakistan. He took 235 and 24 wickets respectively. Yasir did not play in the Bangladesh tour due to injury.
