Travel back and forth by bus and train through Germany for 49 euros a month: since May 1, this has been possible with the Deutschlandticket, the unofficial successor to the best-selling 9-euro ticket from summer 2022.
Contrary to what the name of the ticket suggests, users can not only travel in Germany, the ticket is also valid across borders in many places. Excursions to the Netherlands, Poland or Switzerland are possible without paying extra.
