The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom It has already arrived in stores around the world and with it also came various accessories and merch, both official and unofficial. Of this last group, the unofficial commemorative skin sticker of Tears of the Kingdom from the manufacturer Dbrand Titled “Clone the Kingdom” it is sure to attract a lot of attention due to a hidden message that is quite rude.

The message, encoded in an alphabet adapted (or invented from) the new Zelda and clearly visible on the sticker skin right on the front dock section of the Switch, reads “Go to the f…, lawyers» («Go F**k yourselves, lawyers«). In another section, surrounding the central logo, another inscription reads “This funds our legal defense» («This funds our legal defense«). According to its website, the message is addressed to “one of the most litigious companies.” Does it ring a bell?

This may sound daring and even rude on the part of a manufacturer third party, but Dbrand already has a history of rebellion and well-earned notoriety. The company became known for selling unofficial decorative plates for PS5 consoles called «Darkplates», as well as skins with motifs similar to the official PlayStation logos. All this cost them a legal threat from Sony. Dbrand fought back, making a 2.0 model of the PS5 boards with a message on his website that read “Checkmate, lawyers«.

The unofficial skins of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the kingdom for Switch from Dbrand are sold on their website at a price of 50 dollars.
