Baghdad / Obelisk Event: Syrian President Bashar al-Assad received an invitation from UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to attend the Climate Conference of the Parties (COP28) to be held in Dubai.
The Syrian news agency, SANA, stated that this came during al-Assad’s reception of Abdul Hakim al-Nuaimi, Chargé d’Affaires of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Damascus, who handed the Syrian President an official invitation to attend the conference, which will be held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12. next.
