The Contentious-Administrative Chamber of the Supreme Court has confirmed the penalty of 1 million euros imposed by the National Securities Market Commission on Banco Santander, as successor to Banco Popular in liability for an infringement committed by the latter bank, for omit data or give misleading data in its annual reports from 2013 to 2015 on the remuneration of its executive directors in relation to long-term savings systems and payments for termination of contracts.
