Kate Middleton reportedly refused to curtsey to new Queen Camilla at the coronation on May 6, and according to a royal biographer, the Princess of Wales was even “angry” with the new monarch, reports the New York Post.
Tom Bower claims that it was because of the coronation guest list that Kate Middleton refused to curtsy to the Queen as she left Westminster Abbey.

According to Mr Bower, the Princess of Wales would have been angry that she could only invite four members of her family to the coronation, unlike Camilla, who was able to count on the presence of 20 people.
“If you watch the footage of the coronation, when the king and queen leave the thrones and walk out of Westminster Abbey, you will see everyone bowing and curtseying to the king and no one move a limb, a muscle, when Camilla passes,” Mr. Bower said in an article in the New York Post.

“And that’s because they were mad at Camilla,” he continues.
He also claims that this tension was felt at the royal concert the following day when Prince William made no reference to Queen Camilla during his speech.
