Keanu Reeves is one of the most beloved and charismatic actors in Hollywood and, as much as he is used to delivering beautifully on the screen, it is well known that, on a personal level, he is a true being of light. If not so long ago we discovered his habitual praxis of offering to lower his salary if that allowed the hiring of other actors and that made us adore him even more, at the end of last summer another curious anecdote starring the charismatic interpreter, who arouses passions, came to light. both from his position as an undisputed star and because of his well-known simplicity and friendly way of being. An “event” that occurred in the middle of a long-haul flight, when Reeves entertained himself by watching two films, one after the other: one of them, a classic in the history of cinema; the other, the most criticized feature film of 2022 and definitely one of Marvel’s worst.
It is not usual for knowing what series or movie one of our ‘celebrities’ enjoys to become news, but a few rows from the interpreter sat Josh Horowitz, presenter and host of Happy Sad Confused, a very popular ‘podcast’ that he has been doing since 2014 Horowitz not only could not help noticing what the protagonist of The Matrix and John Wick enjoyed, but he decided to share it with Matt Smith, now one of the stars of The House of the Dragon, in his ‘podcast’ generating great interest from of his listeners and of his own guest.
The reason why Horowitz shared the anecdote with Smith, also a star of Doctor Who and the first seasons of The Crown, was not accidental: The now unmistakable Daemon Targaryen happened to be one of the actors who appeared in one of the films that Reeves enjoyed. on that trip, which was considered one of the worst of the year.
