The Tnuva company informed its customers in the retail and institutional market this morning (Wednesday) of an increase in the price lists of delicacy products, Mama Ouf, Olivia and Tirat Zvi by an average rate of about 6.6%, where the prices of Mama Ouf and delicacies products will increase by 9% and 7.4% (respectively), And Olivia and Tirat Zvi products will increase by 5%. The updated price lists for customers will go into effect on Thursday, June 1st.

Tnuva wished to emphasize that they have not raised the price lists of these products for over a decade, and that all consumer prices are set by the retailers at their discretion and without Tnuva’s intervention, but of course this is in accordance with the price list that Tnuva publishes.

The increase in price comes after the government decided to spread the increase in the prices of the dairy products under supervision, Tnuva’s largest branch. Just two weeks ago, Tnuva raised the prices of its non-supervised dairy products.

“The price update applies in light of the sharp increase in the prices of goods and raw materials in the last two years,” the Tnuva company said. “For example, the raw material chicken breast, which constitutes at least 50% of the composition of Mama Chicken products, became more expensive for the company within two years by about 25%, and the price of flour became more expensive for delicatessens by about 43%.”
