INDEPENDENCE – This Thursday 18 and Friday 19 May, the city of Saintes (Charente-Maritime) welcomes the Independent Scientific Council (CSI) to celebrate its 100th broadcast.
For the occasion, an exceptional congress brings together many personalities who have taken part in the editions of the CSI for the past three years, the purpose of which has been to inform the population through videos broadcast every Thursday about the government’s management of the health crisis, without conflict of interest and in a scientific approach detached from the pharmaceutical industry.

Among them, who will intervene throughout these two days in speeches, meetings and workshops, we note the presence of Professor Christian Perronne, the anesthetist-resuscitator doctor Louis Fouché, the mathematician-researcher Vincent Pavan, the statistician Pierre Chaillot, health anthropologist Jean-Dominique Michel, biostatistician Christine Cotton, Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben, author Tristan Edelman, naturopath Fabien Moine, doctors and oncologist Nicole and Gérard Delépine, doctor Philippe de Chazournes, teacher-researcher Emmanuel Darles, journalists Jean-Michel Jacquemin Raffestin and André Bercoff and even author Hélène Strohl and philosopher Mehdi Belhaj-Kacem.
The purpose of this meeting is to take stock of the current societal, cultural and political crisis, in order to discuss solutions to try to change, collectively, the way of approaching the management of health crises, to improve the health of citizens and to preserve the existence of care practiced with concern for the common interest and public affairs.
Friday, May 19 will be more particularly dedicated to speaking out by groups active in civic and associative action, with the support of the Reinfo Liberté association.
